This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed fuel mixture control adjustment range 3, lower limit not reached and exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, open is the final reason of the code. |
02766 Possible Causes:
02766 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
