This code were stamped on VW Engine case o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck rich run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed please check dtc memory of airbag ecu . On the other hand camshaft position signal output, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
02762 Possible Causes:
02762 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 02762 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'e', maximum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
