The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start interference in mechatronic module also ignition coil 'h' primary control, short to plus will delay your vw fault. |
02761 Possible Causes:
02761 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

What To Check After Fixing 02761 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 6 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
