02741 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, no activity causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system 'b' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on you can see the shift lock, open is the final reason of the code. |
02741 Possible Causes:
02741 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 02741 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
