When you open o2 sensor exhaust sample error bank 2 sensor 1 the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit range / performance or change fuel injection valve 2 (n367), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
02740 Possible Causes:
02740 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 02740 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
