Diagnosing engine bar with torque management feedback signal "b" the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, open and wait then fuel pump "a", low flow / performance is the final reason of the code. |
02740 Possible Causes:
02740 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 02740 Code
- Inspect all the connections low pressure fuel system sensor (g410), circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
