Diagnosing engine bar with camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), implausible signal causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system reversing light, circuit short to ground or change injector cylinder 14 (n392), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
02738 Possible Causes:
02738 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02738 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
