The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor intake manifold runner control, circuit / open bank 1 also intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 2 will delay your vw fault. |
02731 Possible Causes:
02731 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 02731 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), power supply malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
