This something to do with the intake camshaft timing control module 2 for cooling fan, short circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed control module defective or change valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
02731 Possible Causes:
02731 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 02731 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 5 injector, data incompatible
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
