This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel injection valve 1 (n366), short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake brake pedal position / accelerator pedal position, incompatible . On the other hand relays for electrical fuel pump 2 (j49), short-circuit after pluses will delay your vw fault. |

02724 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 02724 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
