The problem is about transmission control unit (j217), programming error It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake transmission fluid temperature, exceeded multiple times or please check dtc memory of clutch ecu is the final reason of the code. |
02718 Possible Causes:
02718 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 02718 Code
- Inspect all the connections mil control circuit, open / short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
