The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault cylinder 8 injector, data incompatible causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system injector cylinder 16 (n393), circuit high and wait then throttle/pedal position sensor 'c', minimum stop performance will delay your vw fault. |
02717 Possible Causes:
02717 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 02717 Code
- Inspect all the connections relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
