When you open intake manifold runner control, upper stop not reached mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544) errors in basic adjustment also exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), voltage supply outside permissible range will delay your vw fault. |
02709 Possible Causes:
02709 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02709 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
