The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault control of valves pump / nozzle, electrical errors in the electric circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 1/2 lambda probes after kat exchanges and wait then cylinder 10 above knock threshold will delay your vw fault. |
02690 Possible Causes:
02690 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02690 Code
- Inspect all the connections givers 2 for intake air temperature (g299), signal too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
