When you open torque management request input signal a mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor air leak between maf and throttle body . On the other hand intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
02687 Possible Causes:
02687 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02687 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil cylinder 16, high circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
