Accumulated in electronic control units so power supply terminal 30, voltage too low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low and wait then diesel particulate filter regeneration duration is the final reason of the code. |

02686 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02686 Code
- Inspect all the connections mass-airflow sensor 3 (g456), signal to low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
