Diagnosing engine bar with ignition coil cylinder 16, open circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high and fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
02683 Possible Causes:
02683 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 02683 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine- / transmission control modules, versions do not match
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
