This something to do with the intake camshaft timing activation 2-unit injector valve, short to b+ run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed data-bus powertrain, implausible message from brake controller or outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
02668 Possible Causes:
02668 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02668 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
