This something to do with the intake camshaft timing outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), open to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 3, out of range or change vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit intermittent will delay your vw fault. |
02664 Possible Causes:
02664 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 02664 Code
- Inspect all the connections radiator fan 3 (v284), movement restricted / jammed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
