This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle actuator control system, stuck closed mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor data bus powertrain, implausible message of the airbag control module also exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 3, out of range is the final reason of the code. |
02661 Possible Causes:
02661 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 02661 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
