02649 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, implausible mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too high and starter does not run, mechanically blocked or mechanical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
02649 Possible Causes:
02649 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 02649 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor bank 2, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
