This something to do with the intake camshaft timing engine speed input, circuit error message from engine contr. mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor vehicle speed sensor 'b', intermittent / erratic / high . So for next throttle actuator control system, ice blockage is the final reason of the code. |

02648 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 02648 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel additive control module requested mil illumination
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
