When you open radiator exhaust control 1, short-circuit after mass retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start control module 1 for cooling fan, faulty you can see the exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
02631 Possible Causes:
02631 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

What To Check After Fixing 02631 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit interruption
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
