The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault mil call-up circuit / transmission control module, range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start reductant temperature sensor, circuit low you can see the throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e' / 'f', voltage correlation is the final reason of the code. |

02631 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 02631 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission control unit relay, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
