This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 3 sensor 1, inner resistance implausible mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit low also supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
02617 Possible Causes:
02617 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 02617 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signals swapped, bank 1 sensor 3 - /bank 2 sensor 3
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
