02606 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ignition coil 'c' primary control, circuit low and wait then reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit will delay your vw fault. |
02606 Possible Causes:
02606 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 02606 Code
- Inspect all the connections mil call-up circuit / transmission control module, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
