02606 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 3, probe 2 tension too largely retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start cylinder 8 injector, data incompatible also vehicle speed sensor 'b', circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
02606 Possible Causes:
02606 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02606 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 1/2 lambda probes before kat exchanges
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
