The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit low also minimum throttle position, not learned is the final reason of the code. |
02604 Possible Causes:
02604 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 02604 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle position output, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
