02601 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil cylinder 15, low circuit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich also transmission range display, circuit open is the final reason of the code. |
02601 Possible Causes:
02601 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 02601 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug / heater relay, circuit open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
