026 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so egr system, regulation range exceeded causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ecm/pcm power input, signal high or secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |
026 Possible Causes:
026 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 026 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pump "a", low flow / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
