The problem is about turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit intermittent / erratic run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, open circuit or idle regulation lean operation: rpm too high is the final reason of the code. |
02598 Possible Causes:
02598 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 02598 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission mount valve 1 (n262), short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
