When you open hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), upper limit exceeded causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit low and exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
02588 Possible Causes:
02588 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders

- Inspect all the connections coolant pump control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
