This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit intermittent causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system internal control module, malfunction also injector cylinder 14 (n392), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
02586 Possible Causes:
02586 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 02586 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic bank
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
