Diameter in engine starter interlock, circuit short to b+ causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit you can see the oxygen (lambda) sensor b3 s1, heater return coupling is the final reason of the code. |
02585 Possible Causes:
02585 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 02585 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 3 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
