This something to do with the intake camshaft timing o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck rich run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed system too lean at higher load, bank 2 also o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 2 sensor 1, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
02574 Possible Causes:
02574 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 02574 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle plate control 2, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
