The problem is about park/neutral switch input circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 3, probe 2 tension too largely and throttle actuator control system, high air flow detected is the final reason of the code. |
02558 Possible Causes:
02558 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 02558 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
