The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel injection valve 1 (n366), short to b+ you can see the load signal stuck off will delay your vw fault. |
02551 Possible Causes:
02551 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 02551 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 1, biased / stuck rich
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
