The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake activation starter relay 2, open circuit . So for next exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, interruption will delay your vw fault. |
02542 Possible Causes:
02542 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical

- Inspect all the connections fuel rail sensor (g401), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
