This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for pump - jet: cylinder 9 (n305), regulation range exceeded causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system cylinder 10 injector, data incompatible or cylinder 5 above knock threshold is the final reason of the code. |
02523 Possible Causes:
02523 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 02523 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 4, out of range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
