Diagnosing engine bar with intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 1 It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to ground you can see the activation, intake manifold runner bank 1 control, range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
02518 Possible Causes:
02518 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High

What To Check After Fixing 02518 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection air pump control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
