This something to do with the intake camshaft timing diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit intermittent / erratic mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor injector data, incompatible or change injector cylinder 13 (n390), open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
02517 Possible Causes:
02517 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 02517 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen sensor bank 3 sensor 1, internal resistance too large
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
