02513 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas recirculation flow, excessive detected causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit range / performance also exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), high temperature will delay your vw fault.

02513 Possible Causes:

02513 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
  • Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
  • Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
  • Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 02513 Code

  • Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) short to b+
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
