02509 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault data bus powertrain, missing messages retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit / open or control module defective is the final reason of the code. |
02509 Possible Causes:
02509 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 02509 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
