Diagnosing engine bar with o2 sensor signals swapped bank 2 sensor 2 / bank 2 sensor 3 mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor ignition switch accessory position, circuit high or hydraulic pressure sensor 2 too low is the final reason of the code. |
02499 Possible Causes:
02499 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 02499 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission mount valve 2 (n263), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
