Accumulated in electronic control units so 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), voltage supply outside permissible range and pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
02497 Possible Causes:
02497 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 02497 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter activation, return message terminal 50, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
