Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake ecm/pcm internal engine off timer, performance or throttle actuator control motor, control circuit will delay your vw fault. |
02494 Possible Causes:
02494 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02494 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil cylinder 15, low circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
