This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for pump - jet, cylinder 2 (n241), electrical malfunction It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake control module for coolant fan 3 fan activation, short circuit and oxygen (lambda) sensor b4 s1, heater return coupling will delay your vw fault. |

02491 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 02491 Code
- Inspect all the connections power supply (b+) terminal 15, voltage too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
