The problem is about linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to ground and starter activation, return message terminal 50, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
02490 Possible Causes:
02490 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High

- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
