Diameter in engine exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system vehicle speed signal, error message from instrument cluster . On the other hand exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit short-circuit after pluses is the final reason of the code. |
02490 Possible Causes:
02490 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02490 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
