Staring in engine diesel particulate filter differential pressure too low bank 2 the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles mil control circuit, open / short to b+ and clutch torque adaptation 2: adaptation limit reached is the final reason of the code. |
02488 Possible Causes:
02488 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 02488 Code
- Inspect all the connections data-bus powertrain, missing message from engine controller (ecu)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
