02481 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault starter interlock, circuit short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ignition coil 'j' primary control, circuit low . On the other hand fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
02481 Possible Causes:
02481 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 02481 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
