This something to do with the intake camshaft timing butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), under voltage during basic adjustment mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor load signal from alternator terminal df, open or short to b+ you can see the exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
02481 Possible Causes:
02481 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 02481 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', minimum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
