The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit high It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, short to ground you can see the activation, intake manifold runner bank 2 control, range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
02473 Possible Causes:
02473 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02473 Code
- Inspect all the connections malfunction indication light (k83), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
