This code were stamped on VW Engine case throttle actuator control motor current, range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor relays for large amount of heat (j360), disconnected or short to ground also control module defective will delay your vw fault. |
02472 Possible Causes:
02472 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 02472 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system pump bank 2, stuck off
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
