The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit intermittent / erratic the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles ignition coil cylinder 14, open circuit and o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean will delay your vw fault. |
02468 Possible Causes:
02468 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 02468 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle angle signal stuck off
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
