The problem is about engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed data bus powertrain, missing message from control module electric parking brake and relays for large amount of heat (j360), disconnected or short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
02462 Possible Causes:
02462 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02462 Code
- Inspect all the connections solenoid ev 7 (n94), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
